YOUTH THEATRE SHOWS

TO 21 JUNE 2009 HELD THE SECOND SAMPLE OF THEATRE MERIDA YOUTH

TAPTC? SCHOOL DRAMA and THEATRE MUNICIPAL DE MERIDA (EM ™) convened for the second consecutive year this shows that, coordinated by Raquel Spleen-TAPTC? Theater, allows to present the public the work done by some of the youth theater classes that exist in Merida, in the Grammar schools and in the EMTM
All classrooms are led by recognized professionals.

This day began in the morning (from 11 to 13:30 h) at the headquarters of the EM ™ (New City CC) where all the participants shared their experiences and work done in common.

the afternoon, they represented their respective performances at the stage erected in the park López de Ayala, from 20h.

This year we decided to make the theater into the street, in order to bring the public the work of these young people, and promoting The idea: MERIDA-TOWN SCENE. This activity is further evidence of the importance of the performing arts in the city of Merida, not only as a place of representation, but production and carrying out of professional and amateur theater. MERIDA CITY SCENE
is a project promoted by TAPTC? THEATRE from MUNICIPAL THEATRE SCHOOL OF MERIDA.

A total of about 70 boys and girls between 12 and 18 years living and studying in Merida and spend part of their time to build worlds of fantasy through the theater as they expand their knowledge and social skills. A very complete work that now want to expose to public opinion, that, ultimately, is just another motivation for all of them.

Another remarkable fact is that the direction of the various works program is responsible for various theater professionals of our city, as a good example of their commitment to the cultural revitalization of Merida.

The IES Santa Eulalia, Merida did not participate this year because of problems with the date of completion of the Exhibition. We look forward to them next year.
