Andalusian Association of Writers and Literary Critics 'Southern Writers and Critics' Prize XVII calls the "Andalusia" Critics 2011, with the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucia, MINISTRY OF CULTURE , and the Andalusian Institute of Arts and Letters, the entity UNICAJA and the city of Algeciras by the Municipal Foundation of Culture José Luis Cano, designed to recognize the best books published writers and authors throughout Andalusia, 2010 in the categories of poetry and narrative.
AAEC members -Consisting of a hundred literary scholars, critics, journalists, professors, authors, cultural advisors and the dates proposed in pre-judgment a list of titles that it deems to be of higher quality. After scrutiny of the works, they will advance to the final to be considered by a jury that will decide the title worthy of the awards.
If any author or publisher sees fit to send books published writers or writers Andalusia in 2010, may do a C / historian Dozy 17, 14005 Córdoba, before the January 10, 2011, sending 10 copies of each title (not be returned by the Association).
may also be granted the special award for best "Opera prima" if the jury deems it appropriate.
The jury, composed of 20 critical-PACE members and representatives of the media, will issue its final decision before the end of March 2011 in the city of Malaga.
This award has no monetary prize and awards as recognition, paths consist of statues commemorating the event, which will be given to the author / s winners / as during the first fortnight of May 2011 in the city of Algeciras (Cádiz).
The award winners are not eligible for the prize for five years from the date they were granted last time, also can not be selected members of the board of the Association or the components of the jury in the last two calls.
